Open ten sites from ten studios and you know which one cost more before you read a word. That feeling is the job. Nemo is a custom software studio, and what separates us is design, so the bar isn't clean or modern. It's the work that ends up on the sites people screenshot. You'll own interfaces end to end: structure, flow, type, motion, and the last four pixels nobody else notices. Then you defend every call in review. Most won't survive the first version. That's where the good work comes from.
What you'll do
- Design products from a blank canvas. Structure, flow, hierarchy, the system, the motion. Not just the screens handed to you
- Take the work to S-Tier. The level the top design sites feature, not good enough to ship
- Defend every decision in review. If you can't say why it's there, it doesn't go in
- Build the system, not the page. Components and rules that hold across a whole product
- Work pixel-close with engineers, so what ships is what you drew
- Push back. On clients, on us, on yourself. Half of what gets asked for makes the work worse
- Design for clients in Egypt, the Gulf, the US, and Europe, where the bar is already high
What we're looking for
- A portfolio we don't want to stop scrolling. Show the thinking, not just the final frame
- Taste you can defend. You know why one version beats the other, and you can say it in a sentence
- Real command of Figma. Grid, type, spacing, motion. The craft, not the toolbar
- You sweat rhythm and detail, and you call things done later than most people do
- You can take a one-line brief and a vague Loom and come back with a point of view
- You ship. Taste with no output is a hobby
Nice to haves
- You've owned a design system, not just pulled from one
- Motion and prototyping. Things move the way you intend, not on the default ease
- Enough front-end literacy to know what's cheap and what's expensive to build
- Complex product UX. Dashboards, tools, real state, not only landing pages
- 3D, WebGL, or the kind of work that wins on the design feeds
What we offer
- Fully remote, based in Egypt. A desk in Cairo if you want one
- Real products for real clients from week one. No mockups for the drawer
- One review standard, held by everyone. Nothing ships soft
- High ownership. You present your own work. No layers between you and the call
- Pay that matches the bar we ask you to hit
- Gear and a learning budget, handled
