Nemo builds digital products and infrastructure that businesses run on. We're looking for an IT Operations & Security Engineer to maintain, secure, and improve our internal systems. This role spans Linux servers, firewall rules, certificates, endpoint management, security processes, and operational tooling. Fast execution, ownership, and reliability matter more than titles.
What you'll do
- Linux server hardening and maintenance
- Firewall configuration and security rule management
- SSL and code-signing certificate maintenance
- Managing endpoint and device systems through MDM tools
- Monitoring and managing Avast services
- Reviewing and improving IT and security policies
- Preparing technical and compliance documentation
- Tracking security updates and operational risks
- Creating internal security update summaries and newsletters
- Supporting infrastructure reliability and operational continuity
What we're looking for
- Good understanding of Linux systems and server environments
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and firewall concepts
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
- Clear documentation and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and improve continuously
Nice to haves
- Security certifications (Security+, CCNA, etc.)
- Experience with MDM systems
- Experience managing endpoint security tools
- Familiarity with compliance or operational documentation
